I can't believe it has already been a month since Tristan was born. Time goes by way to fast! He is getting so big, he has big chubby cheeks, I think he is about 10 or 11 pounds now. He looks just like Skye. He is such a good baby, he NEVER cries and he pretty much sleeps through the night we only wake up once during the night, but he doesn't cry he'll just make goat like noises, it's so cute. That's his way of telling me that he wants to eat and that he needs a new diaper. We love hanging out in the middle of the night, just the two of us, even though I am tired. It's fun to have some alone time. He is such a happy baby.
Isaiah is an amazing brother he is always making sure that Tristan is at his sight and if he is not he'll look for him. He wont get in the car until his brother is in there first and he is always helping me take care of Tristan. He is the best little helper and the most amazing brother. we are SO blessed to have them both in our lives.

Baby Tristan!!
Tristan Hughes was born August 19 2008 at 4:33pm he was 7lbs 4oz and 19 inches tall.
6 days before he was born we found out that he was breech meaning that his head was up under my ribs and he was feet down. he thought it would be fun to try and come out feet first. Dr. had me go in to the hospital to have an ECV (external cephalic version) which I had heard horror stories about so I was horrified to do it. well we went in and even though it was a bit painful it was not that bad at all and baby Tristan did a great job, his heart rate stayed strong through out the entire thing and no emergency c-section was needed. All they do is push on my tummy to turn the baby. The doctor did a great job and she was very careful. they only thing that sucked was being in the hospital for 4 hours and having to fast for almost 24 hours plus getting an IV
The doctors decided it would be a good idea to induce labor to make sure that he didn't try to turn again....just in case. so it was scheduled for the 19th even though we were exited and it was nice to know when we were going to have him, I was a bit sad that he wouldn't come when he wanted to and that we were choosing his birth date. Well my water broke at about 3:00am on the 19th so I'm guessing that he chose the 19th anyway. I got a phone call from the hospital at 6:00 am to let us know that they were ready for us to come in and have the baby. I was so nervous. we got up, got ready, made some phone calls and went to the hospital.
Labor was a bit tougher than expected but everything went well. I had a lot of support the whole time most of the family was there the whole time and they were all very patient.
Tristan was still head down and ready to come out.
He had the cord wrapped around his neck and scared us a little bit because he was so blue when he was born. He ended up with a bruised face so he looked purple for the first two days or so. but nothing serious happened just a few scares here and there. We are so happy to have him in our lives.
Isaiah is such an awesome brother he has never been jealous and he is always saying how much he loves his baby brother. He wants to hold him all the time and he'll make sure that Tristan is okay and every time he cries Isaiah will run to him and tell him "it's okay baby Tristan, don't cry" He'll hug him and kiss him. He was been so helpful and understanding of everything from day one. He also loves to tell people that baby Tristan is too cute. We are so proud of Isaiah he has grown up so much. He is such a loving brother and son.
