Best hubby EVER !!

He is good looking too!!

I have to brag and tell everyone that I have the best hubby in the universe AND he can cook!!
Last week he decided he would do all the cooking for the week so we got tons of groceries. I was so exited that I didn't have to worry about doing all the cooking, but I didn't expect it to be nearly as good as it was, I mean I knew he would do a good job but this was just amazing. He made some delicious Teriyaki Chicken. He made the sauce from scratch and marinated the chicken in it before cooking it. It was THE BEST chicken I have ever had... EVER !! and that is a big deal for me because I am not a big fan of chicken. I am not just saying that because he's MY husband I really mean it when I say it was the BEST EVER. Words can't even describe it. I have my own personal chef right at home. He is SO good he makes all the fancy restaurants out there look bad. ;)
He set the table too!
The next day he made some ribs those were WAY good too!! the only ribs I ever liked were from T.G.I Friday's but that was before Skye surprised me again. He's done such a GREAT job cooking that I don't think I will ever cook again, I'll just have him take care of that. He's MUCH better at it. I can't wait to see what he's going to make next. He is really full of surprises, I am curious to know how many other talents he has that I still don't know about. I love him SO much. He's always taking care of me, I'm a lucky girl!!

Baby # 2 !!

I just realized that we don't have very many pictures of me showing my belly. I had to steal these from my sisters . this was about 4 weeks ago so I was about 27 weeks along. I hate these pictures I look so fat! :(

We are expecting our second baby, and IT'S A BOY !!!! We are so exited and can't wait for him to be here. Isaiah is very exited to be a big brother. We haven't picked a name yet but have thought of a few, if you have any suggestions it's not too late. ;) The due date is August 26th so we still have about 2 months to go. Isaiah is always talking to the baby, hugging him and kissing him all the time and he is very protective too. He is such a great brother already.

Lately he's been bringing his toy and setting them on my belly then he'll talk to the baby and say things like "come play baby" and "push the sword baby, push the sword" if the baby does kick the toys he'll say "good job" then he'll ALWAYS make sure he tells the baby "I love you baby brother" it's the cutest thing in the world, I cant wait for them to meet. They will be best friends, no doubt about it.

A good story to tell and that we'll never forget was before we knew that we were having a boy.
We asked Isaiah what he wanted to have. it went like this:
"Isaiah, do you want to have a boy or a girl?"

"A boy"

" Is it going to be a boy or a girl?"

"A girl...Can I have a puppy??"

I laughed so hard when he said that. He got what he wanted though so we wont need to get a puppy any time soon. :)
The pregnancy has been going great so far. Morning sickness was the worst of it but even that wasn't that bad I guess it could have been worse. So I can't complain too much, it just wasn't fun. Other than the weight gain that I know I can't avoid, everything has been wonderful!!

Our House

We bought the lot in May of 2006 The city took way to long on giving us all our building permits that we needed, so it took us a VERY long time just to get the construction started. I think it was August or September when we were finally able to start building. once we were halfway done we ran in to more problems....to make the long story short the house was not finished till August of 2007. It was quite an adventure and it got frustrating at times but it was WAY worth it !! after many years of trying to get our own place our dream came true and not only did we get our own place but we were able to get the house of our dreams.

We got our landscaping done, Sprinklers and Grass we are planning on getting a fence soon hopefully in two weeks or so.

Another thing we are VERY exited about is refinancing. We got a horrible interest rate, 12.5% so our payment for the last year has been insane!!!! How does $3,800 sound to you? we hate it!!
We are now shopping around for a better loan.... WE CAN'T WAIT !! I never thought refinancing would be SO EXITING!!

I know there are probably too many slide shows in this blog. Sorry, I guess I got carried away I really want to share as many pictures as possible but I could only fit about 40 pictures per slide show or I would have only made one. ;) My goal is to update you on what's been happening in our life since Skye and I met. I will hurry and get you up to date on everything, before we keep missing out on what is going on today. So hopefully I will find the time to do so. ;)

Little Isaiah

He was born April 17th 2006, 19 1/2 inches and 6 lbs 4oz. Labor was induced because there was not enough amniotic fluid for him to survive so it was time for him to come out. I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I went in for a normal Dr.'s appointment but since I had been measuring smaller for a while the Dr decided to send me to the hospital to have an ultrasound done. Skye almost didn't come with me to that one ultrasound but I convinced him to ditch work and come with me anyway. We had no clue, we thought we were just going in for a normal ultrasound and that we would go home soon after. I was planning on going home to get ready for the big day which I was not expecting for another 10 days. when we got to the hospital I had the ultrasound done, the tech got up and left the room for a second and called my Dr. then we heard her yell from the other room "today is your lucky day!" my heart stopped, Skye and I looked at each other and didn't know what to say. the tech came back in and said "Your room is ready right now, you are having a baby today, they will induce labor." I was so scared, I asked her if I could go home first to get my stuff ready, but she said I was not going anywhere.

They induced labor and a few hours went by my mom had convinced me to tough it out for as long as possible and not get the epidural, when I finally wouldn't take it anymore my nurse was nowhere to be found I found out later that she was at a C-section for someone else so Skye had to go out and chase people around to get me the epidural. labor was a piece of cake after that. 1 hour later I was ready to push and Isaiah was finally here. ;) I didn't feel a thing so I was able to enjoy the moment. I was only in labor for 6 hours. it's really a long story so I think I will stop here I tried to make it as short as possible, so I hope you had fun reading.
